With a valid referral for Medicare-eligible imaging, the patient pays only the quoted gap and Modia Health handles the Medicare benefit.
Qualified professionals, state-of-the-art equipment, travel to location, full setup/cleanup, and professional radiologist report.
If the resident has a DVA gold card, we can bill DVA directly for them.
If the scan is referred by CAREPACT, the fees are covered.

Select "New Booking", choose the appropriate imaging or infusion pathway, and complete the guided referral form.
Open a referral to add information or use its clinical conversation so the right context stays with the request.
When results are ready, open the completed referral to view authorised images and download the final report.

Fast for 6 hours (water, black tea/coffee, and medications are OK)
Full bladder required - drink 600ml-1L water, finishing 1 hour before scan
No preparation needed for breast, thyroid, MSK, vascular scans
Eat and drink normally before your appointment
Jewelry, keys, coins, phones, belts, bras with metal underwire
Avoid metal fasteners if possible
You'll receive an email with a link to view images and download the report
Reports are sent directly to your referring doctor's practice and your facility, including by fax where required
Sent electronically to your GP if they are set up for electronic results
For facilities: access reports through the portal when the "Report Ready" indicator shows "Yes"
